Easy Markets
Easy Markets — Multi-Jurisdiction Trading Platform Engineering
Deep engineering on an enterprise-grade, multi-jurisdiction trading platform — from real-time price streaming widgets to CDN/WAF/F5 infrastructure debugging.
Stack

Problem
Easy Markets operates a regulated trading platform across multiple jurisdictions (CySEC, ASIC, FSA, BVI) and languages (16+), built on a CakePHP backend with a 9-plugin architecture. At this scale, the challenges aren't feature gaps — they're the compounding operational weight of a multi-domain, multi-language platform: real-time market data that has to stay in sync across dozens of widgets, and infrastructure spanning CDN, WAF, and load-balancer layers where a single misconfiguration can surface as an intermittent, hard-to-reproduce production issue.
Action
- Worked within and extended the CakePHP plugin architecture to build and maintain 38+ self-contained trading widgets, each independently deployable across the platform's regional sites.
- Implemented real-time price streaming using SignalR, keeping widget state consistent under continuous market data updates, alongside TradingView chart integration for technical analysis views.
- Debugged and resolved infrastructure-level issues spanning CDN, WAF, F5 BIG-IP, and Nginx — the layers where jurisdiction-specific routing, caching, and traffic-shaping rules intersect and most often produce the subtle bugs that pure application-layer debugging can't catch.
- Operated across a platform serving multiple regulatory domains and 16+ languages, where every change had to account for jurisdiction-specific compliance constraints and regional routing.
Result
A trading platform that stays reliable and performant across regulatory domains, with real-time data widgets that hold up under production load and an infrastructure layer (CDN/WAF/load-balancer) debugged down to root cause rather than worked around — the kind of engineering that doesn't show up as a headline feature, but is the difference between a platform that's stable under regulatory scrutiny and one that isn't.
