AMI Group — Bilingual Student Admissions Portal

Problem

AMI Group needed an admissions portal serving both English and Persian-speaking applicants — which meant handling right-to-left layout as a first-class requirement, not an afterthought — plus a way for prospective students to understand their real costs (tuition minus scholarships) without going back and forth with admissions staff, and a payment flow robust enough to catch fraudulent submissions before they reached staff review.

Action

• Built a bilingual EN/Persian admissions platform on React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS, with full RTL layout support for Persian — mirrored navigation, form flows, and typography rather than a bolted-on RTL stylesheet.
• Built a live tuition and scholarship calculator so applicants see their actual expected cost update in real time as they select programs and enter scholarship-eligibility details.
• Designed the payment verification flow with fraud-consciousness built in — validating payment proof submissions against expected patterns before they're surfaced to admissions staff for approval.

Result

An admissions portal that treats its Persian-speaking applicants as a first-class audience rather than a translated afterthought, with a self-serve cost calculator that reduces back-and-forth with staff and a payment flow that filters out fraudulent submissions before they consume staff review time.
